Summer Fabrics: Cotton, Linen, Silk
With Summer in full swing, we’re all dealing with the heat and doing the best we can!
Choosing the right fabrics helps incredibly with laundry. Each year, I realize it more and more. For instance, last Summer we discussed top brands to find cotton tees.
While I was doing laundry here in France, with a lack of AC, I was impressed that my silk dress, linen shirt and cotton romper still smelled like a daisy, despite walking miles in the heat, cooking at the stove, and being out and about.
There really isn’t anything like natural fabrics!!
These natural fabrics also feel amazing to touch. You may recall that years ago, linen was starchy and wrinkly. However, the last few years, I’ve found (shared with Club members) that brands have really found a way to make their linens softer and less susceptible to intense wrinkles. Yes, it still will - but hey, it’s linen and that’s it’s nature to an extent!
More and more brands are getting the memo that women enjoy more and more recently, these textiles. So… enough chatting… let’s get shopping!
