A very happy Summer to you! It’s getting toasty which means, our wardrobes are making a big switch from temperate Spring to red hot.

It’s easy to get a little discouraged with Summer style. Finding the balance of style, modesty and sweating every ounce of liquid out is quite the task. Almost every woman I style yearn for the cool, crisp days of Fall, where they can wear boots and jackets and all of those fun, cozy layers.

It’s the white trouser short!

Shorts can really be tricky and this is such a great way to wear them.This is an extremely flattering style because of the pleats and length. It provides comfort and a feminine silhouette, that emphasizes the hourglass shape.

Here in France, I’ve seen them other ladies wearing them as well and they really do look so lovely! I’ve enjoyed wearing mine with a striped linen button down, a floral cotton blouse and am waiting to pair it with my lady jacket sweater for an all white look on a cooler evening out.

I can’t emphasize how much it helps to size up for shorts. It looks better AND it will feel better! You really, really must try it!! I always do this and it really is a MUST. Do not worry what the number says - it’s how it looks. It will look better in through the thigh and keister, not to mention, the comfort for those warmer muggier days.
Keep in mind how it feels to walk, especially if they’re lined, is it something that will stick when it gets above 80 degrees? We all know that yucky feeling 😂. We don’t need our clothing putting us in a sour mood!
Since this is likely a new style to add to your closet, be sure to run through different cuts of tops that you may pair with them. You don’t want to get stuck with something that makes you buy additional pieces
