Spring trends: The 60s

A very happy first week of Spring to YOU! Can you believe it is here?!

With each new season, it’s nice to give a little zest to our wardrobes by checking in on some of the incoming trends. Trends certainly have their place.

Now, get this… but I dare today that trends can be a way NOT to spend too much on your wardrobe.

How???

Well, it only takes a little bit to modernize and freshen up your basics, so that they feel fresh and new.

When you have a good foundation, you can have a bit more fun with your style and you don’t feel like you’re dropping the bank to make your wardrobe what you seem as “perfect”.

Okay but enough chatting, onto this Spring’s trend!

And that is…

The 60s!!!

Before you think, “eeehhh, I’ll pass”... trust me, there’s a way to add a little 60s razzle dazzle without being over the top and more so - just absolutely CHIC! Some of these ways are most likely already in your closet, too!

Here are 5 easy ways to bring a little 60s trendiness to your wardrobe:

  1. Shift dresses: So comfortable and also work amazingly for warmer weather.

  2. Oval sunnies: This can be oh, such a flattering frame on women. Just pick if you want them thinner or oversized.

  3. Bold prints: Prints can be very personal. Just make sure you really enjoy that print!.

  4. Matching sets: How fun is this?! It’s perfect if you are strawberry or pear shaped so you get the right fit on both halves. And, did you know TJ Maxx online has a dedicated section to matching sets?

  5. Pencil Skirt: Whom of us hasn’t worn a pencil skirt? These can be more casual and I highly recommend adding a comfy, relaxed pencil skirt to your repertoire.
