Spring Shoe Trend Alert: Cute & Classic Mary Jane’s

With Spring in full swing, let’s discuss a trend that’s having a major moment.

Now, if you’re like many of the clients that I shop for, you love how (during Winter) shoes are SO easy. I mean, who doesn’t love a classic and comfortable ankle boot that you can easily tuck a nice cozy sock into?

Flats get a little trickier. They’re just one of those shoe styles that demand a little more… patience when it comes to shopping for just the right pair.

Which is why I’m super excited to share with you this 2023 Spring trend…

The Mary Jane shoe!

The Mary Jane is a fabulous shoe, especially for more narrow-heeled ladies and, even if you don’t have narrow heels your feet just get a bit more support. Not to mention, how stylishly cute are they?!

They add a feminine sweetness to your Look so – especially if you’re in jeans or a blazer -- this is a great way to add a softer touch.

Mary Jane’s first rose to popularity in the early 1900s and were worn by little girls and boys. It wasn’t until the 1960s, actually, that adult ladies began to sport this stylish footwear option.

You can have a Mary Jane that’s either flat or heeled. If you have a harder time finding heels, I would highly suggest having a stab at a block-heeled Mary Jane - that could be your answer!!
