Wrap Your Head Around THIS: Headbands!
This past week, it’s likely that you (like me) were watching two big events. And these two big events had some MAJOR fashion moments.
Yep, you guessed it. The Coronation and the Kentucky Derby.
These two events brought some MAJOR fashion inspiration. Because I attended a Derby party, it really put me in a dilemma over headwear. A brightly colored hat? A fascinator? What is a girl to do and yet feel appropriate and respectful for such an occasion?
Many times we can be invited to fun events, whether it’s a tea party, a brunch, a bachelorette party, or a derby soireé, and such an occasion calls for a bold hat or fascinator.
While I have worn them before, I just wanted something to make it feel a bit more natural for my personal style... You know, something that will work well with snakeskin cowgirl boots ; )
Now don’t get me wrong, fascinators DO look absolutely amazing, but I have an option for you that’s just a bit more subtle, if it so interests you.
The raised, embellished headband!
There are a couple reasons why I enjoyed this choice:
It’s something that you can definitely re-use. It’s not a one time thing.
It just felt more “me” with my style.
Going with a raised headband is a fun option, that’s a bit trendier and definitely has a little spunk. It’s also a very flattering look in general on ladies. They’re having a BIG fashion moment now so it’s a fabulous time to try one.
