Save Time & Money: Use AI To Create Your Look
It can be difficult to imagine an outfit will look like all together. People understand things via audio, reading/writing, kinesthetic and visually.
And for fashion, it can really REALLY be helpful, no matter what type of learner you are to see something visually (which is why I so heavily stress a Mood Board).
In the dawn of AI, we have a really great way to use it for our wardrobe. I know, it may sound kind of overly tech-involved or impersonal (coming from a VERY non-techy person), but … it has saved me TIME and MONEY.
Earlier this week, I was prepping for ski season. I had found some great new goggles and needed a better-fitting, safer helmet (fall risk, lol!).
The question came down to helmet color. While I was thinking the soft pink was fun (especially with a light monochromatic look), something drew me to this rich, maritime blue helmet. However, this was NOT in the plan for the look! NOR, did I think I was ready to take such a risk.
And who came to my rescue in this ski fashion emergency?! MY HUSBAND!
Using AI, he quickly showed me what the two options would look like, not just with my helmet and goggles, but my jacket color, too!
The conclusion was, that I ended up with the not-so-obvious choice, after seeing it all together and that AI images can be a great way to pull together your own looks.
Take a look to below to see how Gemini helped me picked the right helmet.
After seeing these images, while the pink was fun… I thought the darker navy gave more of the polished look I was going for. Using AI helped saved time, by not testing two colors with a purchase.
And you know, this can work for many wardrobe occasions. For instance, if you have a great pair of knee-high taupe boots and are unsure how it’ll work with an expensive coat you’re considering, throw it into AI images. Or, if you think a certain hat wouldn’t be appropriate with your favorite dress, see an image from AI. Or perhaps you’re going to a gala and are unsure how a specific necklace would work with your dress - you can see it before you wear it!
Hope I’m not bringing myself out of a job by sharing this, but it’s a useful tool, so I had to share! 😂
Question: How do YOU use AI for your fashion finds?!
