Score Big, Waste Little: Early Black Friday Sales
Every year, it seems the Black Friday sales keep extending and extending. What once was a rush out to the stores the day after Thanksgiving turned into Black Friday weekend, and then… Cyber Monday.
Well, with all of these extensions of the Black Friday sale they had to move it up as they’re running out of days. So now… we have, believe it or not “Early Black Friday”.
Yep, that’s right. You’ve probably seen it. The sales HAVE arrived!
And as you and I both know, just because something is a “good deal” doesn’t mean you have to get it. Often times, these are the items that go unworn and become a regretful purchase.
But I get it - it sure is tantalizing when something is 75%!
In order to not overbuy and capitalize on pieces we DO need, we need to make a plan. Here’s how to do it.
So here’s my recommendation:
Make a list of the pieces that you can remember saying, while getting dressed, “If I only had *insert piece*, this outfit would come together.”
Go through your basics. Your cotton tees, jeans, mass dresses, jackets, socks, flats, undergarments, sweaters… Do any of these need a little freshening up?
Write down what you DID like and wanted to buy if only it wasn’t just a smidge too pricey. You’ll want to check back on this item.
Subscribe to their email list! Some stores will have extra “perks” if you belong to their email list, so subscribe ASAP.
Finally, add items to your cart without immediately purchasing. This way, you can buy a little time to think about it. It’s so easy to feel the initial rushhhhhh of “oh that is SO cute!” and what you really need is one good sleep and a different mood the next day to reconsider.
