The Holidays are Here! Now, What to Wear?
Well, it’s mid-November and we’re about to enter a very festive time of the year!
And with that, many of us will be thinking about our wardrobes and if we have the appropriate attire for everything coming up on our calendar.
We tend to need pieces that we can dress up easily but not feel like we’re looking overly stuffy or wearing ‘too much.’ It gets tricky figuring out how to be “festively” dressed for everything from parties at peoples’ houses, to dinners out, or Masses at church.
Wouldn’t it be nice to stop dreaming and find something that could work for all of these occasions?
Well… Enter, the sweater dress. The sweater dress is perfect because it’s comfy, easy to work with, keeps you warm, and has a fun, comfy texture that makes it easy to get into the holiday spirit.
It’s a cozy time of the year, so if we can dress up coziness - that’s even better! Not only can it be dressed UP but it can also be dressed DOWN, making it a fabulous go-to travel piece to pack.
Here are a few ways that I like to style a sweater dress:
With printed tights and an ankle bootie.
With a fun fur (or if fur is too adventurous), quilted vest
With a blazer and loafer for a polished and classic take
With tights and knee high boots
With heels and a statement necklace (great for a party Look)
