Toasty Autumn Footwear: Loafers
As the weather is cooling down, most of us are pulling out our boots… woohoo!
It’s a season where the majority of women that I style confess (hands down) to preferring the ease of tall boots to put a ‘polish’ to their outfits. Where a shoe can totally make or break an outfit, boots have always proven to have a great track record for working with just about any look. Plus (let’s not forget), you get to wear cozy socks and keep your tootsies pretty comfy the whole day.
Well, as fantastic as that may sound, sometimes we’re just not in the mood to keep our feet locked up all day. Or maybe we’re wearing a great set of pants that just aren’t working with boots. Those are the times when we’d still prefer a shoe.
Maybe you’ve read my earlier post on loafers a couple summers ago… so let’s talk this time about loafers for fall and winter… and not just any loafers…. FUN loafers.
Loafers that have a little zip and pizzazz. Loafers that aren’t what you wore as part of your high school uniform (although I loooooooooved wearing mine).

3.Comfort is king! Loafers are so lovely to wear all day AND you can wear them with a cozy footie sock.

5.They can go from dressy to casual with ease, which makes them… the perfect travel shoe! Go from walking around the city to dinner in the evening without having to lug a ton of shoes (that take up so much room in a suitcase or closet, too!).
