Sparkle is a fun way to ring in the season, PLUS you can get really creative with how you work with it. It’s not just for “eccentric” dressers. Believe it or not, there are subtle ways to add sparkle to your Look, too!

There are loads of creative ways to add a little shimmer and shine - from a full-on sequin dress, to a bedazzled cap sleeve, to a timeless brooch, studded flat shoe or even (!!) a bedecked beret.

If that holiday shimmer ever feels ‘too much,’ just be sure to add very natural and subdued colors and textures to balance with it.

I once traveled in a ¾ sleeve, pewter shift sequin dress, but paired with a long camel stand-collar coat, tights and brown riding boots - elements that softened the sequin, allowing it to only peek through a little (until I had the embarrassing situation of getting through airport security, having to take off my coat and lighting up the x-ray screen like a Christmas tree - festive!)
