Whyyyyyy???? Because I actually enjoy not wincing in pain all day and having the freedom to walk-walk-walk… all day long if I feel like it!

My Mom really know best and she was ALWAYS telling me to buy Naturalizers (but like any high school teenager that didn’t sound very “cool” to me, so I had to learn the hard way… sorry Mom!!).

I used to think “pain is beauty”... until I realized how (sometimes) the way that I was enduring the pain… just didn’t make me feel or look so beautiful.

You might recall the article I wrote over a year ago, where I reminisced over the first date I had with my (soon-to-be at the time) husband, Brice. There we were… after months spent talking across continents … standing together on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills (could it get more romantic??) … and I had to dig into the back of my car’s trunk for paper towels to wrap around my swollen, blistered feet and had to fasten my decidedly UNstylish paper booties (wait for it)... with a hairband. Yes. A HAIRBAND.
