Summer… It’s in full swing and aren’t we ready for a fun closet refresh!?
The first step (I tell Club Members in my monthly musings), is to find your summer inspiration. If you don’t know what you’re moving towards, you are likely to just continue to buy… and buy… and buy... And who wants a closet full of clothes they don’t wear?!
It’s super beneficial to find inspiration. And inspiration can range from the super classic to the super avant garde - whatever floats YOUR boat!
Someone that I recommend as a really wonderful summer inspiration is Hollywood’s original “ice queen,” Grace Kelly!
She’s the embodiment of classic, feminine elegance (that doesn’t have to be complicated either)!
Here are a few things that compose her signature Look but can still remain super approachable for the rest of us:
High-waisted pants: What a feminine way to wear pants or slacks, especially in a wide-legged silk or satin choice!
Classic round sunglasses: Nothing says “Put me on a boat to Saint Tropez” quite like Grace Kelly in her round sunglasses.
The neck scarf: Don’t think of it as a fussy accessory but as a practical way to stay warm – in both air conditioning or on cool summer evenings on a romantic terrace.
