Father's Day: 5 Tips On Menswear

Father’s Day is just around the corner! And while we’re thinking of gifts and cards, wouldn’t you say the best gift… is the gift that keeps on giving?

Indeed it is!

Rather than the routine gift guide, let’s go over some long lasting tips that can help your husband, brother or friend’s wardrobe.

It’s super easy to feel the weight of shopping - going in and out of stores, online returns, etc… But it really doesn’t have to be (truly!). Especially, many men can feel it a superfluous, draining activity. However, it doesn’t have to be this way!

The more male clients I work with, the more it’s drummed home that just a few simple tips go a longggggggg way.

So let’s dive into them right now.

1. You only need a couple brands - don’t complicate it. Be super satisfied with your purchases. (I’d be happy to help with which ones)

2. Stick to a certain color range (that you enjoy) to make mixing easy. Not only does it help with time management getting dressed in the morning, but it also comes into play for things like travelling and laundry.

3. Divide your lifestyle into categories. Be super specific. There’s a lot of crossover in menswear, too (a button down shirt goes a longgggg way!). You’ll want to note things like activewear, running around town and work.

4. Dont get distracted, keep it to serve a purpose. They’ll be a lot of clutter with other options and don’t let that bog you down. On that note, don’t let eager salespeople talk you into items you don’t really need/want.

5. Comfort and style work together, not exclusively. What you wear is your first impression to someone - it’s important and doesn’t mean you’ll be uncomfortable. It’s not too be overlooked!
