Eveningwear: Jammies and Slippers
So… how did you find your Daylight Savings Time adjustment?! Here in Arizona, we actually don’t change, but I can still feel the evenings getting chillier, with vibrant but earlier sunsets that make you want to get into bed just a wee bit earlier.
If you’ve ever stayed overnight with me, you know that I’m “early to bed” and enjoy a proper bedtime routine. AND… that you might be subjected to my same routine against your will (I joke, I joke! 😂). Besides, a good nightly routine isn’t just for delight-sake… but because it really will prepare you for a great night’s sleep so you can feel fresh as a daisy when you wake up!
Part of having a calm night’s sleep isn’t just a nice candle, an early dinner and some chamomile tea… it also includes what you WEAR!
And I really have to say, the proper jammies set makes ALL the difference.
It gets you pumped to jump into your cute little bed set and get yourself ready for a super marvelous snooze.
Even when traveling, you might think it’s just taking up extra space to pack proper sleep attire but I guarantee, it will make you sleep better. Especially since you’re in an unfamiliar bed, with unfamiliar sheets that don’t smell quite the same as when you’re at home.
I don’t know what the science is behind it, but I can say this much for sure if you are settling for old clothes as pre-sleep attire, you will feel MUCH better in a fresh set of cute pajamas!
