Embracing October: Rosary Bracelets!
In this glorious month of October, when the world is awash in golden light,, we celebrate Our Lady of the Rosary!
Last week was the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary (on October 7), which also happens to mark the victory at the Battle of Lepanto in 1571.
So we get a whole MONTH dedicated to Our Lady and the powerful rosary. I’m not a theologian, so I’ll leave it to the experts to explain why we have a whole month dedicated to Our Lady’s holy rosary. Here’s a fabulous article!
Now, one aspect of the Catholic faith, that I find totally fantastic, is that we use tangibles to express spiritual reality. Something like the rosary gives us something concrete that we can hold in our hands to help us spiritually reach the heavens.
Our Lady of Fatima said to, “Pray the rosary daily to obtain peace in the world.”
