Easter Dresses: Bring On The Bloom!

A very blessed Lent to you!

Can you believe it’s already here?! How is it that 2024 is flying by?

And before you know it… It will be Easter, which is on March 31. That is going to be here sooner than we think!

WIth Easter just around the corner, that means that shopping for your Easter dress is also “just around the corner” especially if you take into account putting in both the time for shopping AND for returns!

I’ve already been helping Club Members find stylish dresses that they can reuse for other special events or Sunday Mass.

Especially with Easter falling so early this year, you are going to be looking for an outfit that offers as much flexibility as the weather forecast. How will bright, happy florals work when it’s so chilly outside and you may even still be wearing your winter coat?!

Well, let’s start now so as not to stress out. Because who needs “wardrobe stress” after our holy Lent? Oh! The irony.

Here are five tips to make the most of your Easter dress:

1. Which events do you have coming up over the Spring/Summer where you can reuse it?

2. Spring dresses mean bright colors. How do you look your best in typical Spring colors? (In my opinion this can be harder one for people to pull off than expected) Think about how you can work fresh colors into what already looks good on you and with what you enjoy wearing. (Still need help? Try my Personal Style Analysis Guide)

3. Note the comfort/practicality/pragmatism of your dress. Do you have little ones tugging on you with (ahem) sticky fingers? Do you want the option of adding a cardigan/jacket? If not, then choose a dress with sleeves. Does it look modest while you are standing up but when you are sitting down is it another story? Would you prefer to easily toss this dress in the dryer? Which areas of your physique would you like to "camouflage?" All of these little things, added up, result in the perfect dress that you won't want to stop wearing!

4. Easter is early this year which means it could still be COLD! What are your choices like for coats/jackets and which dress will match with the majority of them?

5. Is this dress really in your vision/aesthetic for where you want to take your wardrobe next? Because the last thing you want to do is buy another piece that you (and your budget) might regret!

Here are a few Easter dresses for you to shop! Woo hoo!
