Hanging abandoned in your closet!!

When you are at this place, it most likely means you’ve laid the groundwork with well-decisioned items and now you can finally have fun with the “personal” in “personal style”.

Exciting!!

And the best part is, it’s not some huge, complicated, quest. But rather, quite simple.

You likely already have your Mood Board to get you this far - so you are doing great! It’s time to dive into more of the mechanics, you could say.

So… let’s start with three easy ways to approach what you already have and make it feel fresh and “you”.

  1. Contrast: Contrast is key in styling! If a piece feels too masculine, add some feminine details. If, for instance, you’re wearing denim, add something smoother, like a silk blouse or some pink tones to give it a softer feel.

  2. Personal aesthetic: What are the key elements that feel very ‘you’? You know - that thing you put on and just relax and feel, “Ah, this is me.” It could be a cowgirl boot, headband, collarless jacket, or button-down blouse (to name a few). Know these key pieces you can always toss one on with a classic.

  3. Keep your wardrobe to a minimum: The more you have, the harder it is to know what you really enjoy wearing. I promise you - I PROMISE you - that you will be more creative when you have less!

Et voila! I hope you have oodles of fun trying out these three simple tips.
