UPDATE: The Perfect White Sneaker

As Summer is in full swing, many of us are scooting around town in casual dresses and skirts and need the perfect white sneaker.

Last year, I did my first post on the Cole Haan Mindi sneaker. And if (like I did) you purchased them and have been wearing them incessantly, then you understand when I tell you that my Cole Haan sneakers have been glued to my feet since our stay in France. I wear them with classic Calvin Klein dresses, with jean shorts, with white trouser pants, or a ruffled maxi skirt. They’ve gotten me out of all those shoe situations where you need something comfy, yet works with your Look.

Needless to say… They are AMAZING sneakers.

I’m also sure that you’ve discovered how not ALL white sneakers can be so versatile and look so good with dresses.

My clients have been RAVING about their Cole Haans. I have lost count of how many  purchased these sneaks and been over the moon.

So.. I keep my finger on the pulse of the inventory at Nordstrom Rack and, for a few months now, they have not restocked the Mindi sneaker…

THE HORROR!!!

However, since I think these Mindi sneakers are vital to a cute, stylish, comfy and versatile summer wardrobe, I can’t wait to share with you how I’ve actually found a similar sneaker that’s a good replacement.

It is…

The Crosscourt!!!

Yes, the Crosscourt is a VERY similar sneaker that will do the job.

Here are a few ways I wear mine:

  1. I pair them with a ‘work dress’ to make the dress a little more casual and approachable for everyday errands.

  2. Try them with a white on white look - white pants with a white tee. This is a chic and elegant summer look.

  3. Nothing says ‘Americana’ quite like a white t-shirt and jeans with a white sneaker. The perfect “busy day running errands” Look.

  4. Perfect to pair with a cropped, wide leg jumpsuit for those days when you have to be polished but on-the-go.

  5. I love wearing them with a maxi skirt because it makes the skirt a little more light-hearted and presents a less formal feeling.
