Which Fall Hat Should YOU Fall For?

September is here and whooooooooooooooooo is feeling it?!

Kids are back to school, apples are about ready to be picked, and pumpkin-EVERYthing is right around the corner.

So of course, you’ve given thought to your Fall Wardrobe (why else would you be here?!)!

It doesn’t have to take a whole shopping excursion to nail down your Fall style. It doesn’t have to take a lot to make a big impact, as long as you’re adding the RIGHT pieces. Something as simple as a hat, (yes a hat), can make or break a Fall look.

Here are five I’m confident can -- this Fall season -- keep you chic, stylish, and elegant, while adding just a dash of trendiness.

The secret to wearing a hat is… do NOT over-accessorize. As my high school English teacher taught me… keep it simple ( in regards to writing, of course). So if you are about to walk out of the house and feel like you’re on parade, remove one accessory. If that doesn’t work, go monochromatic! That’ll ease the overall impact of your look so there’s not so much for the eye to look at.

Here are four Fall hat trends that I recommend you consider for this upcoming season:

The Fedora: Chic, no-nonsense. Fun Fact: It’s popularity was inspired by the Duke of Windsor in 1924.

The Beret: Enchanté mademoiselle… the perfect thing to cover those little grey cells!

Wool Western: Yeehaw! (And psssst, not all western hats look like you’re saddling up.)

The Cloche Hat: Elegant and feminine… who is ready for tea at Downtown Abbey?

How fun are these?! See… it’s rather simple to turn a sweater and jeans into an Autumnal Chic Delight!
