If It Looks Good On Sale Now, It Will Look As Good (and Maybe Better) Later

Don’t you just love a good deal?! Now I’m not talking about buying things JUST because they’re on sale. But what I AM talking about is something that you’ve had your eye on (maybe for awhile) that you know your closet could benefit from.

Sometimes there’s a stigma about sale items - that some how something is wrong with them. That they’re out of date or out of style.

I’d like to propose a stark contrast to this unflattering fashion stigma - Sales shopping is SUPERIOR not just because of the price, but because such purchases represent smart and worthwhile investments to your Look.

When buying something on sale, that means it has lasted a season on the retail rack. You can STILL find it attractive. Its quality and design will outline a season. It helps you pass by the trendier items (that will be out of date soon too) and invest in long lasting, quality pieces that are eternally chic. The types of pieces that gave timelessly stylish ladies that certain “je ne sais quoi!”

Don’t be so quick to dismiss when you see something online and think, well the price is so low, there has to be something wrong with it! There’s a few reasons for that:

  1. The picture on the model is weird/inaccurate: Google search it and you might find another store with a better, more accurate picture of it on the model.

  2. Sizing is off: All you have to do is read the reviews and adjust accordingly. (I found myself a pair of designer jeans this way that were 80% off).

  3. It’s a piece that doesn’t have the flash of an exciting buy: Perhaps the store has a trendier customer base. You can always benefit from their overbuying the wrong styles for their store.

  4. The piece isn’t weather appropriate for the location: Perhaps you’re in a hot climate and the store is having a hard time getting rid of its winter wear - score for you! (This is how I bought a $1000+ coat for only $129 in California).

  5. The store’s buyer thought it’d be more popular than it is: Fashion buyers can’t predict the future so they may have too much inventory on what they thought wasa fabulous piece!

These are just a few of my reasons to help prove a point about sale racks - buying clothing and accessories on sale doesn’t just have monetary benefits, but style benefits, too!

Here’s where you can shop some beautiful pieces for a great deal:
