It’s here! It’s here!! It is FINALLY September, one of the most loveliest months of all becaaaaaaaause…. That means you’ve made it through the heat of Summer and that lovely, crisper Fall weather is just moments away - woohoo!

Not only is it just pumpkin flavored everything, crisp air, berets and moody cinnamon candles that make Fall so marvelous - but of course, our CLOSETS!

There’s so much greatness to dip into with a fresh Fall wardrobe, so leave your “overwhelmed” feeling at the door. How do we do this? By zeroing in on small details to give us not just inspiration but a tangible jumping off point.

Let’s talk about prints that are “IN” this fall. 

Today… we’re focusing on, houndstooth! Houndstooth will be a BIG print this Fall. This is one of those prints I like to refer to because it’s a timeless classic, but it can also have its “trendy” moment in the sun. This is one of those ideal trends to hop on because… even after the season passes, you’ll still look classic and chic for years to come. PLUS, you’ll get oodles of variety with styles and price points to choose from.

Did you know… that Houndstooth was created in the 1800s in the Scottish lowlands, but gained universal appeal in the 1930s. Then, in the 1950s Christian Dior made it popular thanks to some gorgeous statement designs. 

I mean, really… with designs like this below, how could it NOT become a fabulous fashion statement? A cape + dress combo? Yes, please!
